Quarterback Patrick Mahomes, coach Andy Reid and the Kansas City Chiefs are back in the Super Bowl for the third time in four seasons hoping to claim their second Super Bowl as a team and the third time as a franchise.
They will face the young Philadelphia Eagles, whose rebuilding effort under third-year quarterback Jalen Hults and coach Nick Sirianni, a second-year player, will see the team returning to the big stage for the first time in five years.

A.J. Brown sets Eagles ahead with a long touchdown catch
The ability to score with the biggest play was the hallmark in the Eagles offense throughout the entire season.
At the Super Bowl, Brown made it.
In the opening game of the 2nd quarter Hurts was in the pocket, watching Brown run down the field before he slipped into double-coverage. Hurts' throw was to a point that anyone who was able to catch the ball would need to adjust.
Juan Thornhill and McDuffie in defense were not able to. Brown did however, and the Eagles take the lead back 14-7 after the 45-yard finish.

Chiefs are unable to advantage as Harrison Butker field goal goes "doink"
The Chiefs were able to move the ball effectively but ultimately decided to go for a field goal in the fourth-and-3 situation following their third drive. Butker's 42-yard shot veered to the left and failed after it hit the upright, which kept the score at 7-7.
The play of the Chiefs drive was highlighted by a stunning throw of 22 yards from Mahomes to Kelce as well as some shrewd playmaking coming from Kansas City. Kelce along with receiver Juju Smith-Schuster sent signals to the Chiefs sides like they didn't know an appropriate play. In the opening play of the game Sanders was able to carry for just a one-yard loss. Chiefs cornerback Trent McDuffie tracked him down close to the sideline, and delivered an enormous hit and knocked off the ball from the way.
Sanders is a fourth-year student at Penn State, was seen shaking his hand following the game and went to the locker room, before getting back on the field. Boston Scott and Kenneth Gainwell played the duting of the ball when Sanders was not there. Sanders returned on the field in the second quarter.

Chiefs react quickly to tie the game against Eagles
The Chiefs didn't delay in reacting to the Eagles the first score.
Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes found who else than his most sought-after player the tight wide receiver Travis Kelce, for a 18-yard touchdown that tied the game 7-7 at 6:57 in the first half.
Mahomes his first play during the contest was a 20 yard completion to Kelce. Importantly: Mahomes ankle is looking great also, following a ran for 8 yards during the game's opening drive.
